General Payment Policies
Payment is required in advance for all services. Usually in the form of a deposit.
Verbal bookings will be held for 24 hours. If payment is not received within 24 hours, that booking will be cancelled and will become available to someone else.
A travel fee of $30 will be added for lessons at any location more than 15 driving miles from 40299.
All deposits are final and non-refundable.
Cash, or Credit card are accepted for payment.
Deposits will only be held by Credit Card (with a possible exception for the Shelbyville road vet clinic classes since that deposit will be made with SRVC, not Wiserdog)
Group Class Policies
When signing up for group classes, it is the client’s responsibility to read the class description and understand what class they are signing up for.
Group Classes must be registered for in advance.
It is the client’s responsibility to obtain additional written homework. The password to the homework page will be given at the first class. The website is www.wiserdog.com/clients
It is the client’s responsibility to come prepared to class. Training for your dog starts at every interaction, not just when you enter the building.
Group classes are held at one of two locations: Either Shelbyville Road Veterinary Clinic (weekday evenings) OR a Private Facility on Tucker Station Road (40299).
There will be no refunds for any group classes for any reason.
Clients missing more than two classes per session will not be allowed to return. No refunds will be issued.
Classes postponed due to weather, or trainer absence will be rescheduled.
Occasionally the trainer may take a vacation. If there is not a substitute instructor available the class will be rescheduled and pushed back to the next week.
If it is determined by the class trainer that your dog is not appropriate for the class that you signed up for, we will move you to a more appropriate class. There may be an additional charge depending on which class you and your dog are moved to.
Classes at Shelbyville Road Veterinary Clinic:
Initial deposits must be made with the Shelbyville Road Veterinary Clinic.
Please help us do our part to keep the property clean of dog waste.
Private Lesson Policies
Clients must pay the initial deposit within 24 hours to secure the appointment. If the deposit has not been paid by credit card within that time the appointment will be canceled.
Initial appointments that are cancelled 72 hours prior to the commencement of the appointment may have their deposit transferred to another appointment.
Cases of illness, injury of dog or handler may be considered
Cancellations made within 24 hours of the appointment will be charged the full amount of the appointment.
If a client has a private lesson package and the appointment has been canceled 48 hours in advance, they may retain the value of that appointment. If the appointment has been cancelled after the 48 hour period, the appointment will be forfeited.
We do strive to be accommodating, and it doesn’t hurt to ask, but we also strive to help as many families and dogs as we can.
